The causes of the Russian Revolution includes WWI, the large peasant population controlled by landowning nobles, the lack of industrialization, the lack of republican ideals, and the Autocratic with a weak ruler.
The government and order in Russia shows unprepared organization to fight, supplies shortages, few middle class, no written constitution, and no establishment of a stable system that controlled power equally.
March 1917 of the revolution includes riots in St. Petersburg, Army sides with rioters, Czar abdicates, Duma becomes provisional government, Bolshevic leader, Vladimir Lenin demands peace, land & bread for millions of supporters.
November 1917 Lenin & Bolsheviks overthrows the government, and then there were an establishment in making Moscow a capital. 1918 was when the royal family was killed, there was an establishment of the secret police (KGB)the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk which said to end war with Germany, and was seen as a violation by France & Great Britain.
It led to the break out the civil war between the red army (communists) and the white army (anti communists, the U.S.S.R becoming an enemy to the west of Europe, and the United states because of the threat to capitalism & democracy, and authoritarian government where more peasants would get food and housing, although many were sent to die if they posed a threat to the government.
